Jaintapur Govt. High School

Date of establishment : 1867.The land of two leaves and a bud is the sacred land of Hazrat Shajalal (RA) in the beautiful natural beauty of Niketan Sylhet District. The bordering upazila Jaintapur is known as the natural daughter of this Sylhet district. Jaintapur Government High School is located in Nijpat Union of Jaintapur Upazila, in front of the historic Irrabati Mutt, along Sylhet Jaflong International Highway, about 41 km from Sylhet city. The school was established in 1867. The school stands tall on the 1.44 century land. From its inception till today, the school has been able to keep its status as the best educational institution in the upazila in every field of education-initiation, manners, sports, literature-culture, knowledge-science, information-technology. In the National Education Week 2018 and 2019, the school won the distinction of being the best educational institution in the upazila.
